What is 'Electro Forming'?

Electro Forming is a technique which enables us to make very thin copper forms. This technique is called: electrolysis. The forms get their 'body' by covering them with enamels. If you think of the weight of, for instance, a copper bowl made from a piece of copper plate, you will realize that electroforming the bowl will be much lighter.
